David's primary goals for building and developing web-based and desktop applications are:
David's apps will work with laptops, tablets, or smartphones.
David's topmost priority is that his software can be counted upon to do its things correctly.
David doesn't like waiting for pages to load, and he doesn't want you to do the same.
David likes his interfaces to be easy to use and understand, and so he will build easy user interfaces for the software that he creates.
David was a graduate student researcher in physics, and in the course of his research wrote software for the University of California, Davis research groups to fulfill the needs of the researchers. It was during one of these projects that he realized his true passion for software development. Although this software belongs to UC Davis and is not publicly available, David currently develops and maintains the website of Progressive Employment Concepts, volunteers for UPchieve, and developes several of his own open-source projects.
